The Annapurna Full with Ice Lake Trek is an amazing journey through the Annapurna and Mustang regions, combining high mountains with rich cultural experiences. The trek starts in green valleys and traditional mountain villages, following the Marsyangdi River. The route moves through varied landscapes to reach Manang, the largest village in the region, and an important place for acclimatisation. According to local legend, the surrounding peaks are said to be protected by guardian spirits, and villagers still perform rituals to honour them. From Manang, the journey continues along the Marsyangdi Valley before climbing toward Thorong La Pass (5,416 m), with time built in for proper acclimatisation to make the ascent safer and more comfortable.

After crossing Thorong La Pass, the journey drops into the Kali Gandaki Valley, home to the deepest gorge in the world and famous for its fossils. The sacred pilgrimage site Muktinath along the way, known for its temples, eternal flame, and 108 holy water spouts. Local stories say the flame has burned for centuries, protecting the valley and its people.

The journey then moved into the dry and culturally special lower Mustang region, known for its desert-like landscapes and strong Tibetan influence. Traditional villages such as Lupra Village, one of Nepal’s last Bon communities, offer a glimpse into ancient spiritual practices and mountain life. Legends speak of hidden caves where monks meditated for decades and of sacred stones that grant blessings to those who pass. The trek concludes at Mohare Danda, where the final sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges creates a calm and unforgettable end to this challenging yet rewarding Himalayan adventure.
