Extensive Experience in Social Welfare and Community Leadership
With a deep-rooted dedication to social impact, Mingmar, he has been actively engaged in a wide range of community-driven initiatives over the past decade. From 2018 to 2025, he served as a central and active member of the Sherpa Association of Nepal, playing a vital role in preserving Sherpa culture, supporting mountain communities, and advocating for the rights and welfare of indeginous people.
He has over ten years of experience in photojournalism, using visual storytelling to document social realities, cultural heritage, and the environmental challenges faced by remote Himalayan regions. His work has helped bring awarenessss to under-represented voices and issues in Nepal’s mountainous communities.
Between 2016 and 2024, I held the position of Chairman of a Village School Management Committee, where he has been working to improve the quality of education, promote girl’s education, and ensure better infrastructure and teacher support in rural areas.
In addition, He has organized numerous cultural and social events aimed at fostering community unity, preserving indigenous traditions, and supporting youth and women’s empowerment. These events have included cultural festivals, health and sanitation awareness programs, environmental clean-up campaigns, and leadership workshops.
This long-standing involvement in grassroots efforts reflects my strong belief in inclusive development, education, and cultural preservation - core values that continue to guide my personal and professional journey
